If you have signed up with us as a user of our system, you have the right to view, edit, and/or delete your personal information (used for signup purposes). To manage or delete your personal information used to create your account, please visit the Personal Information page under Manage account. However, the information you have provided to us for electronic filing purposes, even if it contains personal data related to you, may not be deleted, as we are required by law to hold such information for an extended period (usually four years).
If you have not signed up with us, we may still receive your personal information from a client of ours, who provide us your information for information returns filing purposes, we cannot share that information with you directly or delete your information on your request. You must contact the entity that has provided us this information, and they, in turn, can request us to remove your information under the governing laws.
Sensitive personal information: we only collect information that is commonly referred to as ‘sensitive personal information’ under GDPR, as it is required by the law and needed to provide our clients electronic filing services. If you disagree, please do not provide sensitive personal information to us.
